Mr. Levin sent his 2 members from the largest roster of E8's along with his passenger cars Warrior Ridge, Little Juniata Rapids, & Pennsylvania 130. Both E's were rebuilt by Amtrak in 1975 with 645 power assemblies, D77 traction motors, updated wiring, dynamic brakes, a 26L brake schedule & HEP to make them as similar to an F40PH as possible. They are still 70' 3" long, 10' 7-1/2" wide & 14' 7" tall (without trainphone antenna) |
